NAME

6       findfs - Find a filesystem by label or UUID

SYNOPSIS

9       findfs LABEL=label

11       findfs UUID=uuid

DESCRIPTION

14       findfs  will  search  the  disks in the system looking for a filesystem
15       which has a label matching label or a  UUID  equal  to  uuid.   If  the
16       filesystem is found, the device name for the filesystem will be printed
17       on stdout.
