NAME

6       tiffinfo - print information about TIFF files

SYNOPSIS

9       tiffinfo [ options ] input.tif ...

DESCRIPTION

12       Tiffinfo  displays information about files created according to the Tag
13       Image File Format, Revision 6.0.  By default, the contents of each TIFF
14       directory  in  each file is displayed, with the value of each tag shown
15       symbolically (where sensible).

OPTIONS

18       -c     Display the colormap and color/gray response curves, if present.

20       -D     In addition to displaying the directory tags,  read  and  decom‐
21              press all the data in each image (but not display it).

23       -d     In addition to displaying the directory tags, print each byte of
24              decompressed data in hexadecimal.

26       -j     Display any JPEG-related tags that are present.

28       -o     Set the initial TIFF directory according to the  specified  file
29              offset.   The  file  offset  may be specified using the usual C-
30              style syntax; i.e. a leading ``0x'' for hexadecimal and a  lead‐
31              ing ``0'' for octal.

33       -s     Display  the  offsets  and  byte counts for each data strip in a
34              directory.

36       -z     Enable strip chopping when reading image data.

38       -#     Set the initial TIFF directory to #.
