DESCRIPTION

12       xdg-user-dir looks up the current path for one of the special XDG user
13       dirs.

15       This command expects the name of an XDG user dir as argument. The
16       possible names are:
17           DESKTOP
18           DOWNLOAD
19           TEMPLATES
20           PUBLICSHARE
21           DOCUMENTS
22           MUSIC
23           PICTURES
24           VIDEOS

FILES

27       The values are looked up in the user-dirs.dir file. This file is
28       created by the xdg-user-dirs-update utility.

ENVIRONMENT

31       The XDG_CONFIG_HOME environment variable determines where the
32       user-dirs.dirs file is located.
