NAME

6 conj, conjf, conjl - calculate the complex conjugate
7

SYNOPSIS

9       #include <complex.h>
10
11       double complex conj(double complex z);
12       float complex conjf(float complex z);
13       long double complex conjl(long double complex z);

16

DESCRIPTION

18 The conj() function returns the complex conjugate value of z. That is
19 the value obtained by changing the sign of the imaginary part.
20
21       One has:
22
23           cabs(z) = csqrt(z * conj(z))
24

VERSIONS

26 These functions first appeared in glibc in version 2.1.
27

ATTRIBUTES

29   Multithreading (see pthreads(7))
30 The conj(), conjf(), and conjl() functions are thread-safe.
31

CONFORMING TO

33       C99.
