NAME

12 strncat - concatenate a string with part of another
13

SYNOPSIS

15 #include <string.h>
16
17       char *strncat(char *restrict s1, const char *restrict s2, size_t n);
18
19

DESCRIPTION

21 The strncat() function shall append not more than n bytes (a null byte
22 and bytes that follow it are not appended) from the array pointed to by
23 s2 to the end of the string pointed to by s1. The initial byte of s2
24 overwrites the null byte at the end of s1. A terminating null byte is
25 always appended to the result. If copying takes place between objects
26 that overlap, the behavior is undefined.
27

RETURN VALUE

29 The strncat() function shall return s1; no return value shall be
30 reserved to indicate an error.
31

ERRORS
