NAME

6       clear_bit - Clears a bit in memory
7

SYNOPSIS

9       void clear_bit(int nr, volatile unsigned long * addr);
10

ARGUMENTS

12       nr
13           Bit to clear
14
15       addr
16 Address to start counting from
17

DESCRIPTION

19 clear_bit is atomic and may not be reordered. However, it does not
20 contain a memory barrier, so if it is used for locking purposes, you
21       should call smp_mb__before_atomic and/or smp_mb__after_atomic in order
22 to ensure changes are visible on other processors.
