DESCRIPTION

13       The cifsiostat command displays statistics about read and write  opera‐
14       tions on CIFS filesystems.

16       The  interval parameter specifies the amount of time in seconds between
17       each report. The first report contains statistics for  the  time  since
18       system  startup (boot). Each subsequent report contains statistics col‐
19       lected during the interval since the previous report.   A  report  con‐
20       sists  of  a  CIFS header row followed by a line of statistics for each
21       CIFS filesystem that is mounted.  The count parameter can be  specified
22       in  conjunction  with the interval parameter. If the count parameter is
23       specified, the value of count determines the number of  reports  gener‐
24       ated  at interval seconds apart. If the interval parameter is specified
25       without the count parameter, the cifsiostat command  generates  reports
26       continuously.

REPORT

30       The  CIFS  report provides statistics for each mounted CIFS filesystem.

34              This columns shows the mount point of the CIFS filesystem.

37              Indicate the average number of bytes (kilobytes, megabytes) read

OPTIONS

62       -h     Make the CIFS report easier to read  by  a  human.   --human  is

68              units (e.g.  kilobytes, sectors...) associated with the metrics.

87              When this variable is set, display statistics in  color  on  the
88              terminal.   Possible  values for this variable are never, always
89              or auto (the latter is the default).

91              Please note that the color (being red,  yellow,  or  some  other
92              color)  used to display a value is not indicative of any kind of
93              issue simply because of the color. It only  indicates  different
94              ranges of values.

98              Specify  the colors and other attributes used to display statis‐
99              tics on the terminal.  Its value is a  colon-separated  list  of

114              If this variable exists and its value is ISO  then  the  current
115              locale  will  be  ignored  when  printing the date in the report
116              header. The cifsiostat command will  use  the  ISO  8601  format
117              (YYYY-MM-DD)  instead.   The  timestamp displayed with option -t
118              will also be compliant with ISO 8601 format.
