NAME

6       seq_length.pl - lists the number of bases and number of sequences in
7       specified sequence database files

SYNOPSIS

10       seq_length.pl *.fa

DESCRIPTION

13       seq_length.pl will report the total number of residues and total number
14       of individual sequences contained within a specified sequence database
15       file.

OPTIONS

18        -f/--format          - Specify the database format ('fasta' is default).
19                               This script uses SeqIO and as such formats are
20                               limited to those which SeqIO system supports.
