6       elfedit - Update the ELF header of ELF files.

DESCRIPTION

18       elfedit updates the ELF header of ELF files which have the matching ELF
19       machine and file types.  The options control how and which fields in
20       the ELF header should be updated.

22       elffile... are the ELF files to be updated.  32-bit and 64-bit ELF
23       files are supported, as are archives containing ELF files.

OPTIONS

26       The long and short forms of options, shown here as alternatives, are
27       equivalent. At least one of the --output-mach and --output-type options
28       must be given.

30       --input-mach=machine
31           Set the matching input ELF machine type to machine.  If
32           --input-mach isn't specified, it will match any ELF machine types.

34           The supported ELF machine types are, L1OM and x86-64.

37           Change the ELF machine type in the ELF header to machine.  The
38           supported ELF machine types are the same as --input-mach.

60           in place of the original @file option.  If file does not exist, or

64           Options in file are separated by whitespace.  A whitespace
65           character may be included in an option by surrounding the entire
66           option in either single or double quotes.  Any character (including
67           a backslash) may be included by prefixing the character to be
68           included with a backslash.  The file may itself contain additional
69           @file options; any such options will be processed recursively.
