6       globus-hostname - globus-hostname returns the system hostname

SYNOPSIS

9       /usr/bin/globus-hostname [options]

DESCRIPTION

12       globus-hostname returns the system hostname and makes some additional
13       checks to ensure a fully qualified hostname. Setting the environment
14       variable GLOBUS_HOSTNAME will cause globus-hostname to return a valule
15       based on this variable. This is useful for specifying the use of
16       certain network interfaces when communicating etc.

19           Show usage information and exit.

22           Show version information and exit.
