NAME

6       lfc-rename - rename a LFC file or directory in the name server

SYNOPSIS

9       lfc-rename oldpath newpath

DESCRIPTION

12       lfc-rename renames a LFC file or directory in the name server.

14       This requires write permission in the parent directories.

16       If oldpath or newpath does not start with /, it is prefixed by the con‐
17       tent of the LFC_HOME environment variable.

EXIT STATUS

20       This program returns 0 if the operation was successful  or  >0  if  the
21       operation failed.
