DESCRIPTION

12       This  is a link to the ssmtp binary. It invokes /usr/sbin/sendmail with
13       the -bi option. It is provided for compatibility with the sendmail pro‐
14       gram.

16       In  this  case  it does absolutely nothing since sSMTP does not support
17       /etc/aliases and is just there to avoid programs returning  error  mes‐
18       sages.
