DESCRIPTION

18       SExtractor  is  a  program  that  builds a catalogue of objects from an
19       astronomical image. Although it is particularly oriented towards reduc‐
20       tion of large scale galaxy-survey data, it performs rather well on mod‐
21       erately crowded star fields.
