NAME

6 cacos, cacosf, cacosl - complex arc cosine
7

SYNOPSIS

9       #include <complex.h>
10
11       double complex cacos(double complex z);
12       float complex cacosf(float complex z);
13       long double complex cacosl(long double complex z);

DESCRIPTION

18 The cacos() function calculates the complex arc cosine of z. If
19       y = cacos(z), then z = ccos(y).  The real part of y is  chosen  in  the
20       interval [0,pi].
21
22       One has:
23
24           cacos(z) = -i clog(z + csqrt(z * z - 1))
25

VERSIONS

27 These functions first appeared in glibc in version 2.1.
28

CONFORMING TO

30       C99.
