NAME

6 iswctype - wide-character classification
7

SYNOPSIS

9 #include <wctype.h>
10
11       int iswctype(wint_t wc, wctype_t desc);
12

DESCRIPTION

14 If wc is a wide character having the character property designated by
15 desc (or in other words: belongs to the character class designated by
16 desc), the iswctype() function returns nonzero. Otherwise it returns
17 zero. If wc is WEOF, zero is returned.
18
19 desc must be a character property descriptor returned by the wctype()
20 function.
21

RETURN VALUE

23 The iswctype() function returns nonzero if the wc has the designated
24 property. Otherwise it returns 0.
25

CONFORMING TO

27 C99.
28

NOTES

30 The behavior of iswctype() depends on the LC_CTYPE category of the cur‐
31 rent locale.
