DESCRIPTION

12       This manual page documents briefly the upnpd command.

14       upnpd  is  a daemon that daemon that emulates Microsoft's Internet Con‐
15       nection Service (ICS). It implements the UPnP Internet  Gateway  Device
16       specification  (IGD) and allows UPnP aware clients, such as MSN Messen‐
17       ger to work properly from behind a NAT firewall.
