DESCRIPTION

45       r.li.patchnum calculates the "patch number index" as:
46        f(sample_area)= Patch_Number

48       This  index is calculated using a 4 neighbour algorithm, diagonal cells
49       are ignored when tracing a patch.

NOTES

52       Do not use absolute path names  for  the  config  and  output  file/map
53       parameters.    If   the   "moving   window"   method  was  selected  in
54       g.gui.rlisetup, then the output will be  a  raster  map,  otherwise  an
55       ASCII  file  will  be  generated  in  the  folder  C:\Users\userxy\App‐
56       Data\Roaming\GRASS7\r.li\output\            (MS-Windows)             or
57       $HOME/.grass7/r.li/output/ (GNU/Linux).

59       If  the  sample area contains only NULL values then it is considered to
60       have zero patches.
