6       gnome-screensaver-command - controls GNOME screensaver

SYNOPSIS

9       gnome-screensaver-command [OPTION...]

DESCRIPTION

12       gnome-screensaver-command  is a tool for controlling an already running
13       instance of gnome-screensaver.

OPTIONS

16       --exit Causes the screensaver to exit gracefully

18       -q, --query
19              Query the state of the screensaver
20
21       -t, --time
22              Query the length of time the screensaver has been active
23
24       -l, --lock
25              Tells the running screensaver process to lock the screen immedi‐
26              ately

28       -a, --activate
29              Turn the screensaver on (blank the screen)

31       -d, --deactivate
32              If  the  screensaver  is active then deactivate it (un-blank the
33              screen)
