6       gst-feedback - generate debug info for GStreamer bug reports

DESCRIPTION

12       gst-feedback is a utility that scans the system for various information
13       that is useful to GStreamer developers to help diagnose user problem.

15       Depending on the type of bug report, it may be  useful  to  attach  the
16       output of gst-feedback when you contact the developers.

18       NOTE:  The  current  version  of  this script scans many dirs: /usr/lib
19       /usr/local/lib /home /usr/include /usr/local/include /home (again)  for
20       various  GStreamer installations.  Depending on your system you may not
21       want to do this.  Improvements to the script are welcome.

USAGE

24       Generate the feedback information by running gst-feedback:

28       Possibly redirect output and errors to a file:

30       gst-feedback &> myfeedback

WARNING

33       The gst-feedback dumps a lot of information about  a  system,  some  of
34       which  may  be  considered sensitive.  If this is a concern, review the
35       information before posting to a public forum, such as the GStreamer bug
36       tracking system.
