DESCRIPTION

30       gearman_client_add_task() creates a task and adds it to the given gear‐
31       man_client_st. Execution  of  the  task  does  now  begin  until  gear‐
32       man_client_run_tasks() is called.

36       gearman_client_add_task_high()  and  gearman_client_add_task_low()  are
37       identical to gearman_client_do(), only they set the priority to  either
38       high or low.

RETURN VALUE

41       The  gearman_task_st  is  created  and  a pointer to it is returned. On
42       error NULL is returned and ret_ptr is set with a gearman_return_t.
