NAME

13 isinf — test for infinity
14

SYNOPSIS

16 #include <math.h>
17
18       int isinf(real-floating x);
19

DESCRIPTION

21 The functionality described on this reference page is aligned with the
22 ISO C standard. Any conflict between the requirements described here
23 and the ISO C standard is unintentional. This volume of POSIX.1‐2008
24 defers to the ISO C standard.
25
26 The isinf() macro shall determine whether its argument value is an
27 infinity (positive or negative). First, an argument represented in a
28 format wider than its semantic type is converted to its semantic type.
29 Then determination is based on the type of the argument.
30

RETURN VALUE

32 The isinf() macro shall return a non-zero value if and only if its
33 argument has an infinite value.
34

ERRORS
