DESCRIPTION

21       The functionality described on this reference page is aligned with  the
22       ISO C  standard.  Any  conflict between the requirements described here
23       and the ISO C standard is unintentional. This  volume  of  POSIX.1‐2008
24       defers to the ISO C standard.

26       The  strspn() function shall compute the length (in bytes) of the maxi‐
27       mum initial segment of the string  pointed  to  by  s1  which  consists
28       entirely of bytes from the string pointed to by s2.

RETURN VALUE

31       The strspn() function shall return the computed length; no return value
32       is reserved to indicate an error.
