DESCRIPTION

28       The  functionality described on this reference page is aligned with the
29       ISO C standard. Any conflict between the  requirements  described  here
30       and  the  ISO C  standard is unintentional. This volume of POSIX.1‐2008
31       defers to the ISO C standard.

33       The vfwscanf(), vswscanf(), and vwscanf() functions shall be equivalent
34       to  the  fwscanf(),  swscanf(),  and  wscanf() functions, respectively,
35       except that instead of being called with a  variable  number  of  argu‐
36       ments,  they  are  called  with  an  argument  list  as  defined in the
37       <stdarg.h> header. These functions shall not invoke the  va_end  macro.
38       As  these  functions invoke the va_arg macro, the value of ap after the
39       return is unspecified.
