NAME

6 comedi_arm_channel - arm a subdevice channel
7

SYNOPSIS

9 #include <comedilib.h>
10
11 int comedi_arm_channel(comedi_t * device, unsigned int subdevice,
12                              unsigned int channel, unsigned int source);
13

STATUS

15 alpha
16

DESCRIPTION

18 This function arms a specified channel of a subdevice. It may, for
19 example, arm a counter to begin counting. The source parameter
20 specifies what source should trigger the subdevice to begin. The
21 possible sources are driver-dependant. This function is only useable on
22 subdevices that provide support for the INSN_CONFIG_ARM configuration
23 instruction. Some subdevices treat this as an instruction to arm the
24 whole subdevice and ignore the specified channel. For such subdevices,
25 comedi_arm is normally called instead.
26

RETURN VALUE

28 0 on success, -1 on error.
