NAME

6       comedi_get_max_buffer_size - maximum streaming buffer size
7

SYNOPSIS

9       #include <comedilib.h>
10
11       int comedi_get_max_buffer_size(comedi_t * device,
12                                      unsigned int subdevice);
13

DESCRIPTION

15 The function comedi_get_max_buffer_size returns the maximum allowable
16 size (in bytes) of the streaming buffer for the subdevice specified by
17 device and subdevice. Changing the maximum buffer size can be
18 accomplished with comedi_set_max_buffer_size or with the comedi_config
19 program, and requires appropriate privileges.
20

RETURN VALUE

22 On success, the maximum allowable size (in bytes) of the streaming
23 buffer is returned. On failure, -1 is returned.
