NAME

6 comedi_poll - force updating of streaming buffer
7

SYNOPSIS

9       #include <comedilib.h>
10
11       int comedi_poll(comedi_t * device, unsigned int subdevice);
12

DESCRIPTION

14 The function comedi_poll is used on a subdevice that has a Comedi
15 command in progress in order to update the streaming buffer. If
16 supported by the driver, all available samples are copied to the
17 streaming buffer. These samples may be pending in DMA buffers or device
18 FIFOs. Only a few Comedi drivers support this operation.
19

RETURN VALUE

21 On success, comedi_poll returns the number of additional bytes
22 available. On failure, -1 is returned.
