NAME

6       remove-ds.pl - Remove an instance of Directory Server

SYNOPSIS

9       remove-ds.pl [-a] [-f] [-d -d ... -d] -i instance

DESCRIPTION

12       Removes a Directory Server instance from the system.  The instance will
13       be shutdown and the files will be removed.   The  certificate  database
14       files  will  not be removed.  The instance configuration directory will
15       have a .removed extension  appended  to  it,  which  will  contain  the
16       retained certificate database files.

OPTIONS

19       A summary of options is included below:

21       -a     Removes all files and directories belonging to the instance

23       -f     Force removal

25       -d     Enable debugging: adding more -d will make output more verbose

27       -i instance
28              The full name of the instance to remove (e.g. slapd‐example)
