NAME

6       wnpp-alert - check for installed packages up for adoption or orphaned

SYNOPSIS

9       wnpp-alert [--diff] [package ...]
10       wnpp-alert --help|--version

DESCRIPTION

13       wnpp-alert  downloads  the  lists  of packages which have been orphaned
14       (O), are up for adoption (RFA), or the maintainer has  asked  for  help
15       (RFH)  from  the  WNPP  webpages,  and  then outputs a list of packages
16       installed on the system, or matching the listed packages, which are  in
17       those lists.

19       Note  that  WNPP,  and therefore wnpp-alert's output, is source package
20       based.

OPTIONS

23       --diff, -d
24              If the $XDG_CACHE_HOME/devscripts directory exists, compare  the
25              output  of wnpp-alert to the previous output (cached in the file
26              wnpp-diff) and output the differences.

29              Show a summary of options.

32              Show version and copyright information.
