2

NAME

4 ck_bitmap_init — initialize a bitmap
5

LIBRARY

7 Concurrency Kit (libck, -lck)
8

SYNOPSIS

10 #include <ck_bitmap.h>
11
12 void
13     ck_bitmap_init(ck_bitmap_t *bitmap, unsigned int n_bits, bool set);
14

DESCRIPTION

16 The ck_bitmap_init() function initializes the bitmap pointed to by the
17 bitmap pointer. The argument n_bits specifies the number of bits that are
18 to be stored in the bitmap. The argument set determines whether the val‐
19 ues of the bits in bitmap are to be initialized to 1 or 0.
20
21 It is expected that bitmap points to a contiguous region of memory con‐
22 taining at least the number of bytes specified by ck_bitmap_size(3).
23

RETURN VALUES

25 This function has no return value.
26

ERRORS

28 The behavior of ck_bitmap_init() is undefined if bitmap is not a pointer
29 to a region of bytes of at least ck_bitmap_size(3) length.
