NAME

6 ARSETR - Provides a new real value for an Areas parameter.
7

SYNOPSIS

9 CALL ARSETR (PNAM,RVAL)
10

C-BINDING SYNOPSIS

12 #include <ncarg/ncargC.h>
13
14 void c_arsetr (char *pnam, float rval)
15

DESCRIPTION

17 PNAM (an input constant or variable of type CHARACTER) - The
18 name of the parameter that you want to set. The character
19 string can be of any length, but only the first two
20 characters of it will be examined.
21
22 RVAL (an input expression of type REAL) - The real value you
23 select for the parameter. If the parameter is of type
24 REAL, it will be given the value RVAL; if is is of type
25 INTEGER, it will be given the value INT(RVAL).
26

C-BINDING DESCRIPTION

28 The C-binding argument descriptions are the same as the FORTRAN
29 argument descriptions.
30

USAGE

32 This routine allows you to set the current value of Areas parameters.
33 For a complete list of parameters available in this utility, see the
34 areas_params man page.
35

EXAMPLES

37 Use the ncargex command to see the following relevant examples: cardb1,
38 arex01.
39

ACCESS

41 To use ARSETR or c_arsetr, load the NCAR Graphics libraries ncarg,
42 ncarg_gks, and ncarg_c, preferably in that order.
43

MESSAGES

45 See the areas man page for a description of all Areas error messages
46 and/or informational messages.
