DESCRIPTION

18       PNAM        (an input constant or variable of type CHARACTER) specifies
19                   the name of the parameter to get. The name must appear as
20                   the first three characters of the string.  Other characters
21                   may be used to document the use of the parameter being
22                   retrieved; for example, instead of just ´DPL´, one can use
23                   ´DPL - DASH PATTERN LENGTH´.

25       IVAL        (an output variable of type INTEGER) is the name of the
26                   variable into which the value of the internal parameter
27                   specified by PNAM is to be retrieved.  If the internal
28                   parameter is a value "i" of type INTEGER, the value
29                   returned is "i".  If the internal parameter is a value "r"
30                   of type REAL, the value returned is "INT(r)".

C-BINDING DESCRIPTION

33       The C-binding argument descriptions are the same as the FORTRAN
34       argument descriptions.

USAGE

37       This routine allows you to retrieve the current value of Dashpack
38       parameters.  For a complete list of parameters available in this
39       utility, see the dashpack_params man page.

ACCESS

42       To use DPGETI or c_dpgeti, load the NCAR Graphics libraries ncarg,
43       ncarg_gks, and ncarg_c, preferably in that order.
