PROLOG

6 This manual page is part of the POSIX Programmer's Manual. The Linux
7 implementation of this interface may differ (consult the corresponding
8 Linux manual page for details of Linux behavior), or the interface may
9 not be implemented on Linux.

NAME

13 siglongjmp — non-local goto with signal handling
14

SYNOPSIS

16       #include <setjmp.h>
17
18       void siglongjmp(sigjmp_buf env, int val);
19

DESCRIPTION

21 The siglongjmp() function shall be equivalent to the longjmp() func‐
22       tion, except as follows:
23
24 * References to setjmp() shall be equivalent to sigsetjmp().
25
26 * The siglongjmp() function shall restore the saved signal mask if
27 and only if the env argument was initialized by a call to
28           sigsetjmp() with a non-zero savemask argument.
29

RETURN VALUE

31 After siglongjmp() is completed, program execution shall continue as if
32 the corresponding invocation of sigsetjmp() had just returned the value
33 specified by val. The siglongjmp() function shall not cause
34 sigsetjmp() to return 0; if val is 0, sigsetjmp() shall return the
35       value 1.
36

ERRORS

38       No errors are defined.
39
40 The following sections are informative.
41

EXAMPLES

43       None.
44

APPLICATION USAGE

46 The distinction between setjmp() or longjmp() and sigsetjmp() or sig‐
47 longjmp() is only significant for programs which use sigaction(), sig‐
48       procmask(), or sigsuspend().
49

RATIONALE

51       None.
52

FUTURE DIRECTIONS

54       None.
