6       xspirograph - simulates the rotation of a disk inside a circular rim

9       xspirograph [-display host:display.screen] [-window] [-root] [-install]

DESCRIPTION

14       xspirograph draws patterns such as those made by a spirograph, that is,
15       the curve traced by a point on a circular disk rotating on  the  inside
16       of a hollow circular rim.

OPTIONS

19       xspirograph accepts the following options:

21       -window Draw on a newly-created window.  This is the default.

23       -root   Draw on the root window.

25       -install
26               Install a private colormap for the window.

28       -visual visual
29               Specify  which  visual  to use.  Legal values are the name of a
30               visual class, or the id number (decimal or hex) of  a  specific
31               visual.

33       -delay secs
34               The  delay  between  finishing  one draw and starting the next.
35               Default: 5 seconds.

37       -subdelay usec
38               The time to delay between each hundred line draws.  Use this if
39               you want to see the pattern form.  Default: 0.

41       -alwaysfinish -noalwaysfinish
42               If  you want each pattern to draw until it is done, specify the
43               first.  Otherwise, they will stop after a set number of  itera‐
44               tions.  Default: no.

47               Number of pairs of patterns to draw between each erase.

51       DISPLAY to get the default host and display number.

54               to  get  the  name of a resource file that overrides the global
55               resources stored in the RESOURCE_MANAGER property.
