NAME

6       bak2db - Directory Server script for restoring a backup

SYNOPSIS

9       bak2db archivedir [-Z serverID] [-q] [-v] [-h]

DESCRIPTION

12       Restores  the  database  from  a archived backup.  The Directory Server
13       must be stopped prior to running this script.

OPTIONS

16       A summary of options is included below:

18       archivedir
19              The directory of the archived database.

21       -Z Server Identifier
22              The server ID of the Directory Server  instance.   If  there  is
23              only one instance on the system, this option can be skipped.

26              Quiet mode.  Reduces output of task.

31              Display the usage.

EXAMPLE

34       bak2db /LDAP/backups/20130305/ -Z instance1 -n userRoot

DIAGNOSTICS

40       Exit  status  is  zero if no errors occur.  Errors result in a non-zero
41       exit status and a diagnostic message being written to standard error.
