NAME

6       pw-pulse - Use PipeWire instead of PulseAudio

SYNOPSIS

9       pw-pulse [options] COMMAND [FILE]

DESCRIPTION

12       pw-pulse  modifies  the  LD_LIBRARY_PATH  environment  variable so that
13       applications will load PipeWire's reimplementation  of  the  PulseAudio
14       client libraries instead of PulseAudio's own libraries. This results in
15       PulseAudio clients being redirected to PipeWire.

17       If PipeWire's reimplementation of the PulseAudio client  libraries  has
18       been  installed  as  a  system-wide  replacement  for  PulseAudio's own
19       libraries, then the whole system already behaves in that way, in  which
20       case pw-pulse has no practical effect.

OPTIONS

23       -h     Show help.

25       -r NAME
26              The  name of the remote instance to connect to. If left unspeci‐
27              fied, a connection is made to the default PipeWire instance.
