12       tcgetsid — get the process group ID for the session leader for the con‐
13       trolling terminal

DESCRIPTION

21       The  tcgetsid()  function shall obtain the process group ID of the ses‐
22       sion for which the terminal specified by fildes is the controlling ter‐
23       minal.

RETURN VALUE

26       Upon  successful  completion, tcgetsid() shall return the process group
27       ID of the session associated with the terminal. Otherwise, a  value  of
28       -1 shall be returned and errno set to indicate the error.

31       The tcgetsid() function shall fail if:

33       EBADF  The fildes argument is not a valid file descriptor.

35       ENOTTY The calling process does not have a controlling terminal, or the
36              file is not the controlling terminal.
