6       PerlIO::via::symlink - PerlIO layers for create symlinks

SYNOPSIS

9        open $fh, '>:via(symlink)', $fname;
10        print $fh "link foobar";

DESCRIPTION

14       The PerlIO layer "symlink" allows you to create a symbolic link by
15       writing to the file handle.

17       You need to write C"link $name" to the file handle. If the format does
18       not match, "close" will fail with EINVAL.
