NAME

6       git-update-server-info - Update auxiliary info file to help dumb

SYNOPSIS

10       git update-server-info [-f | --force]

DESCRIPTION

13       A dumb server that does not do on-the-fly pack generations must have
14       some auxiliary information files in $GIT_DIR/info and
15       $GIT_OBJECT_DIRECTORY/info directories to help clients discover what
16       references and packs the server has. This command generates such
17       auxiliary files.

OPTIONS

20       -f, --force
21           Update the info files from scratch.
