NAME

6       kpsestat - compute octal mode from mode of existing file

SYNOPSIS

9       kpsestat mode file

DESCRIPTION

12       kpsestat prints the octal permission of file modified according to mode
13       on standard output.  The mode parameter accepts a subset  of  the  sym‐
14       bolic  permissions  accepted  by chmod(1).  Use = as the mode to obtain
15       the unchanged permissions.

OPTIONS

18       kpsestat accepts the following options:

20       --help Print help message and exit.

23              Print version information and exit.
