6       timer_delete - delete a per-process timer (REALTIME)

DESCRIPTION

15       The  timer_delete() function deletes the specified timer, timerid, pre‐
16       viously created by the timer_create() function. If the timer  is  armed
17       when timer_delete() is called, the behavior shall be as if the timer is
18       automatically disarmed before removal. The disposition of pending  sig‐
19       nals for the deleted timer is unspecified.

RETURN VALUE

22       If  successful,  the  timer_delete()  function  shall return a value of
23       zero. Otherwise, the function shall return a value of -1 and set  errno
24       to indicate the error.

27       The timer_delete() function shall fail if:
