6       lvscan - scan (all disks) for logical volumes

SYNOPSIS

9       lvscan  [-b|--blockdevice]  [-d|--debug]  [-h|--help] [--ignorelocking‐
10       failure] [-P|--partial] [-v|--verbose]

DESCRIPTION

13       lvscan scans all known volume groups or all supported LVM block devices
14       in the system for defined logical volumes.

19       -b, --blockdevice
20              Adds  the  device major and minor numbers to the display of each
21              logical volume.
