6       clear - clear the terminal screen

DESCRIPTION

12       clear clears your screen if this is possible.  It looks in the environ‐
13       ment for the terminal type and then in the terminfo database to  figure
14       out how to clear the screen.

16       clear ignores any command-line parameters that may be present.
