6       era_check - validate era metadata on device or file

SYNOPSIS

10       era_check [options] {device|file}

DESCRIPTION

14       era_check  checks  era metadata created by the device-mapper era target
15       on a device or file.

17       This tool cannot be run on live metadata.

OPTIONS

21       -q, --quiet
22              Suppress output messages, return only exit code.

26              Print help and exit.

30              Output version information and exit.

34              Only check the superblock is present.

36              era_check will return a non-zero exit code if it finds  a  fatal
37              error.  If any errors are discovered use era_repair to correct.
