DESCRIPTION

17       Each live reference to a device should be refcounted.

19       Drivers for USB interfaces should normally record such references in
20       their probe methods, when they bind to an interface, and release them
21       by calling usb_put_dev, in their disconnect methods.

23       A pointer to the device with the incremented reference counter is
24       returned.
