12 This manual page documents briefly the gethostip command.

14 The gethostip utility converts the given hostname or IP address into a
15 variety formats. It is provided by the syslinux package to make it
16 easier to calculate the appropriate names for pxelinux configuration
17 files. These filenames can be the complete hexadecimal representation
18 for a given IP address, or a partial hexadecimal representation to
19 match a range of IP addresses.

25 -d Output the IP address in decimal format.

27 -x Output the IP address in hexadecimal format.
