NAME

6 sleep - delay for a specified amount of time
7

SYNOPSIS

9 sleep NUMBER[SUFFIX]...
10 sleep OPTION
11

DESCRIPTION

13 Pause for NUMBER seconds. SUFFIX may be 's' for seconds (the default),
14 'm' for minutes, 'h' for hours or 'd' for days. Unlike most implemen‐
15 tations that require NUMBER be an integer, here NUMBER may be an arbi‐
16 trary floating point number. Given two or more arguments, pause for
17 the amount of time specified by the sum of their values.
