NAME

6       Pod::Perldoc::ToRtf - let Perldoc render Pod as RTF

SYNOPSIS

9         perldoc -o rtf Some::Modulename

DESCRIPTION

12       This is a "plug-in" class that allows Perldoc to use Pod::Simple::RTF
13       as a formatter class.

15       This is actually a Pod::Simple::RTF subclass, and inherits all its
16       options.

18       You have to have Pod::Simple::RTF installed (from the Pod::Simple
19       dist), or this module won't work.

21       If Perldoc is running under MSWin and uses this class as a formatter,
22       the output will be opened with write.exe or whatever program is
23       specified in the environment variable "RTFREADER". For example, to
24       specify that RTF files should be opened the same as they are when you
25       double-click them, you would do "set RTFREADER=start.exe" in your
26       autoexec.bat.

28       Handy tip: put "set PERLDOC=-ortf" in your autoexec.bat and that will
29       set this class as the default formatter to run when you do "perldoc
30       whatever".
