NAME

6 shtool mkshadow - GNU shtool create shadow tree using symlinks
7

SYNOPSIS

9 shtool mkshadow [-v|--verbose] [-t|--trace] [-a|--all] src-dir dst-dir
10

DESCRIPTION

12 This command creates a shadow tree of src-dir under dst-dir by
13 recreating the directory hierarchy of src-dir under dst-dir and by
14 creating the files of src-dir by linking them into the corresponding
15 directories under dst-dir via symbolic links. When src-dir can be
16 reached via relative paths from dst-dir, relative symbolic links are
17 used, too. This high-level functionality is originally designed for
18 developers to create copies of source trees.
