9       split [OPTION]... [INPUT [PREFIX]]

DESCRIPTION

12       Output  fixed-size  pieces of INPUT to PREFIXaa, PREFIXab, ...; default
13       size is 1000 lines, and default PREFIX is `x'.  With no INPUT, or  when
14       INPUT is -, read standard input.

16       Mandatory  arguments  to  long  options are mandatory for short options

20              use suffixes of length N (default 2)
