NAME

6       wtoc  - Convert a Wnn text-form dictionary (or dictionaries) into Canna

SYNOPSIS

10       wtoc [-f hinshidata] [wnnjisho] [cannajisho]

DESCRIPTION

13       wtoc converts a Wnn text-form dictionary file into Canna text-form dic‐
14       tionary  file.  If all dictionary files are omitted, the Wnn dictionary
15       data is input through the standard input.  In this case, the dictionary
16       of the Japanes Input System is output from the standard output.  If one
17       dictionary file is specified, it will be regarded as a Wnn  dictionary.
18       At this time, Canna dictionary output to the standard output.

OPTIONS

21       -f hinshidata
22                   The user can add new information about word-type correspon‐
23                   dence between Wnn and Canna.  The following word-type  cor‐
24                   respondence information must be described in the hinshidata
25                   file.  Within one line, describe the Wnn word type name and
26                   the Canna word type while delimiting by a space(s) or tab.

EXAMPLE

32       % wtoc -f tsuikahinshi kihon.u kihon.t

34       Inputs  word-type  correspondence  information  from tsuikahinshi, then
35       converts Wnn text-form dictionary kihon.u into the Canna text-form dic‐
36       tionary before output.

40       Converts  Wnn  text-form dictionary special.u into Canna text-form dic‐
41       tionary, then outputs the result to the line printer.
